John Deere Gator XUV for Sale in Martin, TN

Wintertime means different things for different people. Some may look at it with the holidays in mind, others may just see it as one extended break from mowing. But nobody should see it as downtime for their John Deere Gator.

Just because the weather changes doesn’t mean it’s time for your Gator XUV to go into storage. These workhorses were built to be taken advantage of year-round. With plenty still left to do, you may even find some new chores to take on. At Tennessee Tractor, we offer plenty of accessories to help you take full advantage of the season here in Martin, TN.

If you are in the market for a Gator XUV and staying warm is one of your priorities, our XUV835M and XUV865M both offer factory-installed cabs with standard heat and A/C options. If you’re already the proud owner of an XUV, there are still plenty of options to prep your utility vehicle for the cold.

6 John Deere Gator XUV Attachments to Get You Ready for Winter

  • Cab doors. Keep cold air and chilly winds out with a set of doors. We offer plenty of different options, including doors with side windows, glass doors and soft doors.
  • Windshield with wiper kit. Winter can be cold enough without chilly winds hitting your face at 35 mph. By installing a windshield with windshield wipers, you’ll also be able to keep a clear path ahead despite rain or sleet.
  • Poly roof. By adding a roof over your head, you’ll be able to protect yourself from unwelcome weather.
  • Cab rear panel. If you want to continue building up your all-enclosed cab, adding in a rear panel is the last and final step.
  • Cab heater. Now that you’ve got a cab to block out all of the cold, you need something to warm up the inside. Installing a cab heater will keep you toasty and comfortable when you’re off working hard.
  • Floor mats. Our Gator XUVs were made to get dirty. But it isn’t always fun dealing with the aftermath. In case of rain or mud, having floor mats will save quite a bit of cleanup.
  • 6 Ways to Use Your John Deere Gator XUV this Winter

  • Remove tree stumps. The winter months are the perfect time to trek into old brush and remove all of the old tree stumps left behind. Use your winch or attach a chain, secure it around your stump and get to pulling.
  • Carry firewood up to the house. Just because it’s cool outside doesn’t mean you can’t cozy on up inside. If you already have some firewood chopped, throw it in the cargo box and haul it up to the house to prep for a nice fire. You can also chop some firewood up, carry it to the shed and set it up to start drying out.
  • Get rid of old, fallen trees. Since you’re already at it, it might be a good time to clear out old brush and dead trees. Tow it to a dumpster or take it to an open field to be chopped up.
  • Hit the trails. After all, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Give your Gator XUV a balanced role by taking it out to hit some trails. Remember, it’s got fast speeds and quality traction for a reason.
  • Manage the land. If you’ve got a large property, it’s important to make sure it’s well taken care of. Drive around and check for anything out of the ordinary.
  • Plow snow. You probably don’t see much snow in the winter times, but it probably always comes at the worst times when you do. Hook up snow blades to the front of your UTV and you’ll be ready to keep your road safe and cleared out.
